some very interesting philosophies aired here... might have to delve into them on my next few trips

but to me...acid is not about a fight, its not me trying to win out over a drug...its about becoming a kid all over again...its about being able to directly relate to all cats (cos all cats are trippers...just look at felix!)its about *seeing* things you didnt realise were there, its about the heightened sense of intellect and thinking... its about the socialness,the colours, the laughing for 6 hours straight and the way everything (even the best most psychedelic psytrance) is just more intense and endearing on good acid...
and on some occasions...its just for the pure headfuck...to give my mind a few hours of just spitting out what it wants to spit out and have a holiday...
ahhh...wouldnt it be wonderful if the whole world could handle taking an LSD vacation? *dream on dreamer...*

oops...also forgot to add...
i tend to have my trips on a level 4, but the only time i have ever achieved something like a level 5 trip is on DXM (anyone else really enjoy their DXM experiences?)... i guess these 2 levels are something for more experienced people to do...
socially, level 3's are great fun...everyone has a good laugh

Reality is inconceivable without an experiencing subject, without an ego. It is the product of the exterior world,
of the sender and of a receiver, an ego in whose deepest self the emanations of the exterior world, registered
by the antennae of the sense organs, become conscious. If one of the two is lacking, no reality happens, no
radio music plays, the picture screen remains blank.
If one continues with the conception of reality as a product of sender and receiver, then the entry of another
reality under the influence of LSD may be explained by the fact that the brain, the seat of the receiver,
becomes biochemically altered. The receiver is thereby tuned into another wavelength than that corresponding
to normal, everyday reality. Since the endless variety and diversity of the universe correspond to infinitely
many different wavelengths, depending on the adjustment of the receiver, many different realities, including the
respective ego, can become conscious. These different realities, more correctly designated as different aspects
of the reality, are not mutually exclusive but are complementary, and form together a portion of the
all-encompassing, timeless, transcendental reality, in which even the unimpeachable core of self-consciousness,
which has the power to record the different egos, is located.
