I am sure most of the females on this site have already tried semen in one form or another. To those of you who can't access the site it is an article about a study claiming that semen has mood lifting effects on women (HAH! I love evolution. If you fuck me you will feel better than if you fuck him. I am surprised our dicks don't shoot liquid heroin by now :-) ).
Despite their claims they have looked at all other possibilities I still really don't trust the study. I mean they certainly can't rule out the idea that having the male ejaculate just uncounciously makes these women feel better and how the hell can they be sure this isn't simply reflecting prior personality disspositions? Also how the hell is their thesis consistant with the fact that women who use condoms seem to be less happy than those not having sex? Are we supposed to believe that protected sex is somehow casually responsible for depression.
Only when they start basting women in semen and fake semen in a double blind controlled study will I buy these results.
As for the men I find this even weirder. They suggest that perhaps gay men get this benifit too. How is this explained evolutionarily? Do you get the benifit from your own semen? If not why not your own but from other mens? If you get it from your own why do you need to ejaculate to recieve this benifit? Should you save your cum and eat it? Will this work?
In short its all very sketchy.
