You Right Now...V2

Heh, at least it wasn't petrol in a diesel car - that's much worse.

When I was a young and naive farm worker and had just started driving the tractors, I once mistook the engine oil
spout for the diesel filler cap, and filled her up. Luckily, my mistake was noticed by the boss before I started it up. One drained sump and an oil fill later, all was good.

Turns out the Merc wasn't a 320D, but a 320 with a broken exhaust pipe.

Found out after I pumped diesel into it and tried to go down the road. It was only $5 of diesel, and the tank was quarter full, so I just chased it with $10 of petrol. Was still running when I parked it anyhow. . .
Having worked in a petrol station when i was younger i can assure you once you turn the engine over its a goner. Best avoid the owner of that one lol

Lol, yeah, petrol in diesel is bad news.

That car was barely running anyhow. Like I said, it sounded and felt like an old diesel, and most old mercs here have toyota diesels stuck in anyhow. Plus it has been crashed so I couldn't open the bonnet and it kept trying to veer in both directions. The best possible thing to happen would be it's owner being forced to take it to a shop for some tlc before he wipes somebody or something out.

When i was 18 i put petrol in a diesel 4wd when i was working at the servo. The owner and my boss both gave me a right bollocking. Luckily the engine had not been turned over. We drained the tank...gave the owner a free tank of diesel that i had to pay for and that was that. Close call.

And now I can imagine it looks like a 320-2, or whatever they might designate a hypothetical version with a two-stroke engine, from behind .....

Got my 110cc underbone scoot back from the in-laws in the boonies just now after 2.5 years. Was expecting it to be completely fucked, to be honest; but it's only a bit rough and neglected as far as I can tell, with a few shitty improvised repairs and bits hung with wire.

Took it straight to a small local guy to fix it up. Will have it back midweek. Big bike going to parking for a while. Tires be expensive.

This morning I went to begin two weeks of substituting as a maths, science and reading/writing teacher for a guy I know who is out of the country.

Now, I hate teaching and don't really like other people's kids very much; so, as we waited for the bell to ring at 7.30am, I excused myself to my TA, went outside and got on my bike. Then I went to see a thoroughly professional prostitute.

I could use the money, but shouldn't have accepted the damn gig to begin with.

Fuckin gold!! =D

That's one of the best stories I've ever heard...
