You know you're a drug geek when . . .

the part about telling people aboutthere old meds etc and argueing about drug myths id prob the biggest ones i can thin of

especially when you get rally pissed of about OXYCODONE getting called heroin

and when your grandpa,father etc ask you about a drug whenthe ae completely against drugs :)

When you consistently get phone calls that go something like this:

Caller: Hey man
Me: Hey! havent heard from you in forever
Caller: Yeah i know, ive just been chillin, u?
Me: Yeah im hanging out
Caller: thats cool...um...hey man is it OK to mix coke and ecstasy?
 
(from the guy sitting behind me reading the Merck Index)

when you refer to THIS as your bible. (points downwards)
 
When you tell your family that "they" are doing studies on treating PTSD with MDMA and they take it seriously. =D
 
When your friends start talking to you about drugs and by the time the conversation is over they're all scratching their heads

I haven't quite come up with a way to explain what a moderator is to my regular druggie friends, non-bluelighters....

i was asked if i get paid & if i get free drugs :\
 
when you regularly meet people who say they have "tried all the drugs out there", and that makes them loose 10 points on your estime scale because you know they have no clue
 
You shake your head when he tries to say 'the little white specs are cocaine or little brown specs are heroin.. dont worry its quadruple stacked though!'...

You want to stab the guy who just took some 'Hydrocodeine'...

I've had people ask me that too 8)

I try to explain BL as a harm reduction site and people say things like, "thats stupid, you can't use drugs responsibly." Jerks.
 
when youve read every article about every drug on wikipedia,
and apply the information to your drug use.
 
You're really pedantic?

It annoys me to no end when people refer to things by their more chemically names but neglect really important details like where the methoxy is located, etc (ie: methylmorphine = codeine, but it could be all sorts of things, too)
 
-when you get phone calls at 730 in the morning from a friend that just got to work, found a pill on the floor, and calls u up to ask what it is...thats usually when I give them the website

-when you correct the Merck "bible" or other general pharmacutical indecies (sp?)

-when you spend 30 minutes explaining why the "pure visuals" of "2c-b" arent actually 2c-b, but actually match perfectly the description, dosage information, and whatnot of 2c-i...and still cant convince them that they dont put rc's in chocolate form (yep...thats what i was told...dont know if its true or not)

-when you have a different drug molecule shirt for every day of the month, or just different drugs for every day of the month:\

Haha thats so true

When people say hey I have some 325mg vicodin
or I have 500mg vicodin and you just want to smack them in the face.
