I’m sure a lot of folks have their thoughts and opinions about the relative merits and evils of alcohol vs. marijuana, but it's nice to know the cold, hard facts, isn’t it? Here we start with the premise of “Imagine that both alcohol and marijuana were undiscovered until today. How would we think about their relative risks?”

Booze is the vanguard of my disinhibition, and the map to a familiar gateway, through which, other mind-altering substances are calling out to me.

I was gonna write a poem, but I'll leave it at that.
 
Out of every single substance booze makes me practically insane. If I'm trying to stay clean AMD have a drink, I'm putting a needle in my arm sometime later, or I'm doing coke...and I don't even really like coke. It makes me feel reckless and aggressive and I'm not like that. Plus I get hungover easily and that will usually lead to a migraine and I'd rather not drink if its going to be a migraine that could last over a day. Alxhol is so rough on your body, it feels like poison.

One of my friends who is an alcoholic, when he smoked herb for the first time he thought it was like alcohol; but besides alcohol the only other drug he had ever taken was a legally prescribed opiate based painkiller after surgery in a low dose.

The #1 popular drug for most people, besides caffeine is alcohol.
