Eh, sometimes I wish I had deputy mod powers. Nothing under my name, but the ability to do stuff when I see it. I would have loved to be the person who banned Teo though.
The reason I wouldn't want anything under my name but just have mod privs is that when you're just a member again there's no pressure to do anything; I wouldn't have to do mundane mod stuff if I didn't want to.
The biggest thing that sucked about modding was coming into PD and seeing a ton of threads that needed to be closed or redirected (when I would have just wanted to hang out in the social thread). I guess I took the stick too seriously in a way; I could have just left the threads; too much traffic to reasonably manage without getting paid for it.
Haha, I talk a lot about the plusses and minuses of being a mod.
Also; when you're just a member you don't have to follow the rules as much. You can come into a thread and derail it or go off topic; like I just did right now :D

It's just the PD way, we're hard on the ego here In the lounge you'll find more people willing to riff on a thread like that, hard to get people exited here without nerding out on brain chemistry or a new research chemical or something.Yeah, true, but that's over on the etard forum.
Because discussion on BL is deliniated by drug of choice (and hence by what drug people are on whiel they're reading the forum), you get very different community attitudes on the different forums.

I'm still a newb here... so who was this Teo guy? Some major drama-causer? Verse me on this BL lore before this thread is moved or closed, lol.
Oh yeh, and despite being real new here this is the only forum I actually really post in haha. Like a little home. I suppose I'm trying to absorb some of the knowledge that alot of people have on the workings of psychedelics.
