you go back and forth.

i've seen this before
over and over.
your barbs of passion
causing me to bleed.

And then when it finally clots,
you come back and scratch at the hole again.
Tearing away the feelings
by telling me you hate me

then wondering if you're confusing it with love.

you're just a girl.

a girl who decided to stick around
b/c you found out that I make you feel good
I make you feel validated
I made you feel tall and uninvisible.

but now.

your hate
or
your love

makes me feel small and insignificant.

and I'm tired of that.
I dont have that much time anymore.
The clock is running down
and soon, I'll be out of your reach forever.

so let's have another first meeting.
let's reunite for the first time.

let's drop all of this hate.
