I'm sorry if this a repost, I haven't been lurking as much as usual. I read this and saw red, I thought others on here might also enjoy being pissed off by this article.

The worst bit by far is this:

Read this in my parents mail on Sunday! I also like how it advises 30,000 people every year die of smoking hash! Based on their own estimates of course
 
Yeah and that if a package containing 5 grams of hash explodes in your stomach your definitely going to die. All this talk of how many thousands and thousands of tonnes of hash are being smuggled into the UK, cuz "everyone's at it", well I have one question, WHERE THE FUCK IS IT ALL?! I hardly ever see hash in any of the cities I have spent time in, certainly not as prevalent as weed :\
 
They have got a point, hash is very deadly...I'm glad more people are waking up to just how insidious this drug really is.

I was smoking a hash spliff with some mates just the other week and one of them died right there at the party, soon after inhaling. No one even batted an eyelid because it's so damn common these days.
 
Its a shame newspapers cannot be fined or penalised in some way for publishing complete untruths and inaccurate information.

What's more worrying is the amount of people that don't even know its a total pile of crappy right wing propaganda nonsense. These poor gullible fools think they are reading a decent newspaper with accurate and reliable info. Its a desperately bad thing IMO.

All its good for is the wide surface area it offers to conveniently protect carpets and furniture etc, very useful for catching any flying cum shots following a nice German tank. Its got a lot of pages too. Which is a bonus considering the use some people make of it.

People on here would do well to realise we are a harm reduction website and Cannabis is a silent killer amongst masses who believe it harmless. It should be made a Class A.

Although every time you link to (or read) the DM, a fairy dies. A lot of their (the DM, not fairies) business model relies on causing outrage so articles get linked around, resulting in clicks and thus expensive advertising space.

this is the reason that, in my mind.. in terms of general, all round severity and taboo'ness truly equated cannabis to heroin or crack. having taken the plunge and begun bonging weed age twelve, superannuation soon dictated a complete revision on my feelings towards cannabis. it was obviously some sort of rubicon moment, as i soon reasoned that if the papers would shamelessly lie about and disinform so grossly over cannibis, why should it be any different with any other drug. so i went to find out


its sad to say and plainly ecstasy played its part - but leah betts' parents, who travelled the entire nation, denouncing mdma/dealers thereof, to schools - ours included. but the elephant in the classroom clearly was the fact their daughter died as a result of following the stated government advice at the time.. that of drinking ridiculous amounts of water to ward off imagined, horrorshow dehydration :\
