Howdy y'all. Roughly middle-aged, Kentucky-native-gone-Florida-transplant-gone-Washington-State-refugee lady here.
I've been graciously blessed with the gift of disabled living, with multiple, genetically-sourced chronic pain conditions going on about 6 years now. As the years go on and the chronic conditions worsen, the doctors get progressively more "reserved" with their treatments--traditionally opiate-based--and I grow closer to evolving into my final form of Cantankerous 40 Year Old Lion-With-A-Thorny-Paw...
So here I am, hoping to find like-minded folks, maybe the occasional ear, perhaps the occasional advice, perhaps even an equally cantankerous friend or two, since I really don't have a soul who legitimately understands my struggle.
