i recently tested some speed with my ez tester, and it turned slowly to
dark yellow/orange. could anyone tell me what i got?and is it safe to use?

You answered your own question with your Topic Subject. If you read the chart that comes with the ez-test, you'll see that you got speed. Make sure you bring your receipt when you ask for a refund

it says on my tester chart that speed would turn dark red / brown when tested, so thats why i asked.

i snorted 4 lines of it yesterday, and i didnt feel shit. i`m guessing its very weak speed or something else.does anyone have any suggestions to what this might be ?
thanx

well, amphetamine isn't the only thing that turns orange...
if it didn't do much to you, i'd suggest that it was ephedrine. a lot of people try to pass off ephedrine as "speed"--and it will feel somewhat speedy, but you have to do a larger amount that if it were really amphetamine.
ephedrine turns "orange, dark brown, to wine red" with the Marquis reagent.
if it was a pill, what did it look like?
ref: Haley, T. Color reactions of sympathomimetic amines. J. Amer. Pharm. Assoc. (1948), 37:378-9.

it wasnt a pil, it was pure white powder with some little powder balls. if it was speed i should have felt it after 4 lines, cos i have no speed tolerance or very little, so im assuming it is ephidrine. could it be speed cut with a whole lot of something else, like chalk? that would explain the slow reaction with the tester.

well, i desolved more than half a gram of this speed, and it worked ok, not very long though. so i guess there must have been some speed in it.

it should. the haley ref above lists that color change for "dl-, l-ephedrine". d-ephedrine *could* be pseudoephedrine but isn't necessarily; anyway, given what i know about visible-light spectra, its not something that stereochemistry would affect.
although it could, i guess, somehow, and somehow i can remember seeing pictures of enantiomers that looked different. .. but, with pseudoephedrine anyway, the color change, would be minor if there was any at all.

Also found something out yesterday.. Phenylalanine (which can be an amphetamine precursor) reacts like amphetamine to marquis, but to the trained eye, its not quite right on mandelin reagent.
