Yellow/Damp Speed

Can any one tell me why this speed I have is flourescent yellow and is 'damp' i.e. I put it in between paper and it has soaked through???????????
Should I get rid of it or still have it?
 
You mean it glows in the dark? that doesn't sound like good speed

Damp probably because it probably ws just not fully dried, and cut too earlier. I wouldn't worry about the wetness too much, just let it dry over a period of 2 days or so (if you can wait). For the color, its freakin crank-what the hell do you expect. I 've had green, brown, yellowish stuff-it differs every time. Now if you are talking about great meth that is white every time, then I would question your dealer. My 2cents, wait a day until it dries up a bit, drop a bit in a glass D and puff away......
 
Oh ya-It could have been cut w/ too much 409 or laundry detergent or something....but like I said-it's freakin crank, what do you expect?

i've read that "damp" or "oily" speed is contaminated with (pseudo)ephedrine hydriodide--though i've never looked up ephedrine HI's properties to see if it's an oil.
this would result from an incomplete reaction in the reduction step. quite possible if they're new and not doing it quite right.
i'm not altogether sure if it's a great idea to consume any hydriodide, but it might be nice for your thyroid.. =) it's not straight-up *toxic* though, nor is it meth.
i'm not sure what causes the yellow color. it could be the hydriodide (oils, for some reason, tend to be yellow...), could be something else. note that completely reduced meth hydriodide is also possible.
iodide is a "soft" ion; its charge is spread over a wide area, and it may be able to bond very strongly with a drug base. technically speaking it shouldn't be able to survive the neutralization and extraction steps, but it's possible that it can migrate into the organic layer by itself, at least in small amounts. only small amounts seem to be present, but a small amount could easily be the cause of oily or yellow product -- trace impurities have a way of being very noticable in the final results.
 
How much are you talking about? The magic fix-all with methamphetamine is a nice hard wash in some ice-cold acetone.. still, if you only have like a 20-sack, just smoke it as is and hope it's not fatal!
From the way you describe it, they either fucked up with the actuall reaction or when they were bassifying their oil...

heh last time i saw yellow speed i thought long and hard about who i saw trying to sell it and came to the conclusion that it was crusked up vivran. why its damp i dont know but if its really really weak shit i think vivran is your awnser

It's not vivrin, it's simply speed that could have been mis0made any number of ways - but do not write it off, oh no.. for the BEST meth UI ever had was some dirty brown peanut butter shit - blew me away! Sure, I didn't inject it, but you didn't need to... there was the green crank (from using copper fittings on their labware) that was a sickly green - yet still jacked you NICE!
So yeah, if you're going to IV it or even smoke it, then you might wanna be carefull, but just because it's dark blue, smells like urine, and burns a hole through the plastic bag its in... well, thats no reason not to throw down a gagger and go weld some shit together!

My friend gets his eightballs like that. He usually pulls a quater gram out of it before he gives it the acetone bath, and one or two lines from that dirty shit will keep me SPUN for hours.

I'm gonna presume we are talking about meth here, but correct me if I am wrong. Is it like a fine powder, the stuff you have, or is it in actual largish crystals?
I'm wondering if the reason your meth is yellow and oily is because not all of the pure methamphetamine oil has been crystalized (i.e., had that .hcl added - which would make it a white powder), and so some of that oil (which would be yellowish, I believe) would remain and colour the rest of the crystals? If so, the meth you have would be really good and strong and not too cut -- definatley something to hang on to.
I've had alot of meth that seems to "sweat" and it's always been a sign to me of high quality stuff.
