My life has been like Dorothy's
Or that is how it seems
But unlike lucky Dorothy
It wasn't in my dreams

I had my garnet slippers stolen
From an evil witch
I had a long, long way to go
To catch up with that bitch

And all along the winding road
I slipped and fell and screamed
I wanted back my life
But how that witch had got to me

I followed paths of yellow brick
All while I was suffering
But at the end I found
The Emerald City of recovery

I have yet to get my slippers back
But they are sure to come
And now my life will turn to gold
This battle I have won
