Anyway, to be more specific and elaborate about my mescaline methodology (which I've shared before, but enjoy sharing still):
What you need:
-10-12" San Pedro cactus cutting (average thickness)
-blender
-large pot
-a knife, cutting board
-small amount of water, splash of citrus juice
-an old t-shirt
1. Chop the entire cactus (spines, white center-guts, everything) into small cubes. Place in blender w/ a splash of water, and blend thoroughly-- it will turn into a foamy paste.
2. Blend all cactus, and put into the pot. Turn on to medium high heat, and let cook for ~20 minutes, stirring regularly. You can add your splash of citrus juice now.
3. The foamy mixture will turn into a snotty paste after maybe 20 or 30 minutes. Place this paste into your spare t-shirt and squeeze the juice out of the pulp/foam (it is hot as hell, so let it cool a minute). Discard of the pulp (I like it fling into in the yard, allowing animals to eat it, or perhaps it simply melds with the earth, resulting in good feelings all around), and place your liquid back into your pot. Add a little water and simmer this, on lower heat, until the liquid has evaporated down to about a shot's worth-- it usually takes about 2 hours or less. Stir occasionally.
4. That's it. You can refrigerate or freeze and consume later, and it stores pretty much forever. Before drinking, I brew some ginger tea (boiling water + raw ginger chunk + honey) to prevent nausea, and fast the day of the trip. Never have nausea or an upset stomach, and the trips are intense. Enjoy!
