G'day

So, im just trying to work out what i need to do... any help would be awesome

what im trying to do is basically get my 360 running through HDMI on my computer laptop which has a HDMI input.

Issue is... monitor does not have built in speakers, so im wanting to use my computer 5.1 speakers i have.

Now the legit MS xbox 360 HDMI cable comes with a component fitting for audio, how would i get this into the 5.1?

.....

whats the input on your computer 5.1 speakers.
i would get adapters to fit that and plug em in

only D-SUB, DVI and HDMI.

im thinking, if i get the legit MS HDMI cable, that comes with the component part for the audio, i get a cable that has the red/white's one end and a audio jack at the other end.

Obviously, put the red/whites into the component, then with the other end put it into my PC's Audio IN.

This should work shouldnt it?

:X FUCKIN MICROSOFT!!!:X

so i found this

http://shaymus22.wordpress.com/2006...0-audio-through-your-pc-speakers-in-10-steps/

so i was stoked, went and got a HDMI cable and that adapter in the first pic...

SURE AS SHIT!!!

you cannot plug in a HDMI cable when you have the component plugged in... hence you need to go buy the legit xbox 360 HDMI cable that comes with that audio component part!!!

shit fuck cunt whore slut!
