Cooking is wonderful - artistic creation, and delicious destruction all in one! Add some alcohol or THC to the food for even more enjoyment during the destruction. :D
 
I've been on Xanax for years and I only currently take 1 mg 3x/day. I don't find it euphoric or a pleasant benzo. It relieves my panic attacks and anxiety, but does nothing for me recreationally. I have taken big doses to get a "buzz or high" but ended up with nothing but feeling extra tired and losing a few days worth of my meds.

I find a number of other benzos more recreational, including nitrazepam, temazepam, diazepam, and triazolam. I enjoy the benzos with a heavier sedative action and a stronger muscle relaxant effect.

Alprazolam (Xanax) continues to be by far the most prescribed benzo in the United States (in the top 3 in Canada) and gaining popularity in Australia. Doctors like to prescribe it because it is effective, short-acting, and according to the American Medical Association, has a lower dependence liability than lorazepam and diazepam as far as anxiolytics go due to a lower incidence of side effects such as sedation, euphoria, and muscle relaxation.

The OP has stated that he doesn't need them medically, and only uses them recreationally. He also states

So I don't think taking ANY benzo is a good idea, regardless of dose (seeing as he's already tried dosing low).
