Hi, I've just taken 2 alprazolam 1 mg each, and it's been about a good 30-40 minutes since taking them, and I don't feel anything, and I weigh about 150 pounds, and have never taken these before, if you could tell me the recommended amount of these to take, I would be grateful :)
 
We CONSTANTLY see people taking benzos who aren't used to their effects thinking that they don't feel much/anything and keep taking more. The problem is with benzos (especially with new users) that you often underestimate the effect and if you just keep taking more, there is a good chance that you'll black out and do very stupid/dangerous things due to the profound disinhibition.

Cane is right, benzos are tricky. They're quite good at their designed job, that is, stopping anxiety right in its tracks. However, because they get rid of anxiety they also get rid of your natural defenses when it comes to doing really stupid stuff. Like driving your car or taken even more drugs.

2mg is certainly enough if you've never taken benzos before, you'll feel something soon my friend :)
 
Thanks neighbor, it's still been a while, not feeling anything yet, hoping to feel something soon, I'm wondering if I just have a natural tolerance to these..
 
I don't feel anything at all, I'm a little sweaty.. and it's relatively cold in this house, but that''s about it.
Edit: Also, it's been a while since I last ate as well, about an hour or two ago, and it wasn't a complete meal either.

You may not feel any physical difference with alprazolam, benzos are tricky (like I said before) and they affect different people very differently. You should notice that you have very reduced anxiety and a general "I don't give a shit" attitude.
 
I don't feel tired and I'm not sure what the manufacture was...

Edit: Generally I feel no difference at all, in anything.
 
What's up with these people downing benzos and not feeling a thing? Are they real pills, bud? 2mg xanax for a starter is something....
 
Egh, it sucks because I just gave my friends one of these and he's just sitting there pretty much zombied.. while I sit here bored :x
 
Well at least you know the pills aren't bunk!

Everybody reacts to different drugs differently. Maybe you'll react very well to another benzodiazepine and your friend won't. :)
 
Mhmm, the problem is, these are the only pills I have :P maybe next time I take them I'll have a different reaction.
 
hmmm that is pretty damn strange cause yeah 2mg definately should do the trick. and your not a real heavy person, so you should feel them quickly. idk man that is pretty curious. did you identify the pills online?
 
Of course, I always use the pill identifier before i take anything, and I took another one less than 30 minutes ago, yet again, no effects, I expected to be in another world :X
 
I think this has run its course and you've gotten all the information that you can. Maybe you have a high natural tolerance, maybe benzos just aren't your preferred feeling. Almost universally people think they aren't as impaired as they are from it, especially if their used to other substances.
