Hmm.. That's weird. I'd say that either you:

A. Have a very slow metabolism so it took a long time for you to break them down, metabolize them and hence gain effects.

B. Had bunk pills but with some Alprazolam in them and, in the end, you had just enough in your system to to knock you out.

C. Had Xanax that were Extended Release (Ex.R.).

To be honest, it could be a combo of of any or all three or non. We can't really be sure.
Maybe it'd be worth giving 1 (singular 1 lol) to a friend who's also non-tolerant and see if they get any effect. Also to crush one and see if it has a waxy substance in the middle which would indicate that they are Ex.R.

yea its common that you feel them after a lil while when you have food in your stomach? but 100 mg of valium will raise your tolerance for xanax and for taking it that long your gona be fine taking that much xanax you might not even black out i love xanax

hmm. So you've been taking 100mg valium for days (how many days) ? I ask because that's a pretty decent amount of valium. If this has been going on for months or some such length of time, then there should be no shock that a large amount of xanax isn't touching you. However, as xanax is a hell of a lot more 'notable' you should be feeling SOMEthing.

Still, the relative equivalency of xanax to valium still has the dose of xanax that he took as being alot stronger than the 100mgs of valium.
.5 xanax=10mg valium
18mg xanax= 360mgs of valium if my math it correct.
I for one think that .5 or xanax is closer to 5mgs of valium, and even if so that would still equal 180mgs of valium.

Did you notice the 100mg of valium for 4 days. After that I think I would be able to type on 18mg xanax (i'm on 8mg kpins and 60mg valium at the mo and I didn't even take any yesterday).

Did you notice the benzo equivalency that I posted above?

All major sources of benzo equivalency charts list that .5mg xanax =10mg valium.

So the amount of valium he took doesn't come close the the high amount of xanax. Also, xanax hits you alot quicker than valium. It doesnt last quite as long, but sure packs a harder punch.

My friends that got really bad into xanax took 14mgs, and that was after months of working their way up to that. I have been on 3mgs daily for years, and the few times that I took 5 or 6 mgs I was high, then passed out
