Yeah I learned long ago we can suggest but it is up to the person to take the steps to help themselves. My honest opinion? This girl is no where near stopping and will have issues long into the future. But when asked I did mention a diazepam taper. Whether they do that or not is up to her. But I dont think so. I will ask every once in a while but may even stop asking. And street benzos are usually way stronger than prescriptions and when the girl buys her 'xanax" I suspect it is something stronger.Your friends daughter, speaking from my own experience will as you probably know will only quit when she really wants too or worse is forced to if something happened legally and that would be bad, withdrawals in jail. They would have to do something, she could have a seizure depending on the severity of her addiction and a slim chance of death.
She is young and Valium ain't Xanax.
Anyways have a nice day
Oddly enough I could not tell 10 mgs of diazepam from .5 of alprazolam or 1 mg of etizolam. That is how green I am. But I always thought diazepam was the same as the others, but I notice it is the standard tapering. Probably much safer to be on.
Have a nice day too JN.
