I'm curious, im pretty familure with xans, but ive always got either the blue 1mg footballs, or the 2mg bars. A friend of mine is being weaned* (idk if spelled correctly) off and shes now getting the white .25 xanax. Ive never taken the .25 ones before, but obviously 4 of them would = 1 football, or 8 = 1 bar. But my friend says when she takes 4 of her .25 pills it feels stronger than just taking 1 blue one. Im wondering if she is just experiencing placebo, or if there really is a stronger affect, from the same amount of xanax, but in 4 pills instead of 1. Any ideas guys?

It's the same amount, whether she takes four .25 tablets or one 1 mg pill. Probably is placebo effect.

Set and setting also matters... depending on the situation you take the drug in, what you expect, and how you feel before taking the drug can all influence what will happen when you take it.

Medication is required by law to have very close tolerances for the dosage so it is unlikely that 4 0.25mg pills would contain any more or less than 1mg.
