Xanax/Sleeping Pills a/o Alcohol

I was curious as to how much of a combination of Xanax and Sleeping Pills would be considered to be that lethal threshold. I know people who are heavily into benzos, and I also know that you can't quit cold turkey. I am just worried about them passing out and dying a/o aspirating, rather than ODing and puking violently like most people do. With or without alcohol can be included.

What do you mean by xanax and sleeping pills? if its just xanax and other benzos mixed, you aint going to die. its pretty much impossible to OD on benzos alone. now if its xanax and Z-drugs like ambien for example im sure those can cause someone to OD but im not sure what the LD50 of Z-drugs are. and if its benzos AND alcohol if someone has no tolerance they can die on small doses of benzos if taken after or during drinking heavily. like ive heard of someone drinking alot of liquor one night an this guy had never taken a benzo well his friend wanted to take some xanax bars they each took 2 and the other guy wanted to show off and took 3 not knowing how dangerous it was since he had never done xanax. well needless to say he never woke up after that night.

Agreed with ovo1024. You can't od on benzos (though WDs from them can believe it or not!) but mixing them with alcohol is a very risky game. I too know people who've od'd this way

Thank you for your responses, and my apologies for not being clear with what I meant by sleeping pills. I wasn't sure myself.
I'd assume then, that benzos combined with most downers would be dangerous? (Heroin, morphine, etc)

Yes. Opiods and benzos and alcohol and benzos can be fatal combos.
