Xanax + LSD questions

Okay so i know that xanax will make your trip mellow and for some people pretty much end the trip once it hits you, but im wondering if i take like double or even tripple the dose and pop some xanax ( i like to get very barred out, around 4 or 5 mgs. ) will i get an intense trip or will it bring it to the same level regardless? Any input i greatly appreciated

Just speaking from personal experience, using benzodiazepines while tripping just brings the trip down a notch. Kinda good if you're having a bad time or if you're freaking out, but not something I'd do to enhance the experience myself. They're two different drugs with two different experiences to enjoy - it's a waste to mix them!

Yes as i said before i know benzos bring down the trip but if i doubled or tripled the dose of LSD would i be able to achieve an intense trip while on benzos. Not will they enhance each other. Did you read my original post or just the title

I personally don't think you're going to get the "intense" trip you're after. These two substances are just too antagonistic. But, let's talk numbers. And by that I mean, what's your proposal, here? What dose of LSD do you think could withstand 4 or 5 mg of Xanax and still be "intense"?

I guess I'm having a hard time figuring out what you're after, here. You want to "bar out," you're not looking for either substance to enhance the other, and you're looking for an intense trip. It's just not clicking into place for me. Someone looking for an intense LSD trip normally wants to stay waaay clear of Benzos -- no matter how high he's willing to dose.
