Xanax high

So after a decent amount of digging around the web I can not find any good information on what Xanax does recreationally. I've checked erowid however it's page on alaprozam is not the best. So what is a Xanax high like and what is a good starter does for someone that is 160 lbs?

Alprazolam has probably the most recreational value of all the commonly prescribed benzodiazepines. It's sedating, relaxing, mood lifting, and sometimes even makes you more sociable. A good strating dose would be 0.5 milligrams. If you get no desirable effects from that dose after an hour, add another 0.5 milligrams. If you still get no desirable effects, than it most likely wont serve any recreational value to you.
