Stimulants xanax for combating amphetamine induced erectile dysfunction?

just wondering, if the problem is a result of the vascular constriction caused by the amphetamines, would a downer like xanax remedy the problem? Has anyone tried this?
 
It's actually N2O that you're thinking of Seyek, NO2 is a poisonous gas; but, otherwise you're right I'd imagine.

OP, it's just laughing gas, the stuff they give you at the dentist. You may have heard of whippets before too, well that is N2O as well. It's a dissociative anesthetic, but a lot of people use it for it's ability to reduce blood pressure (makes the blood vessels bigger, so more room=less pressure). This effect is called vasodialation, hence the name.
 
You'd be better off with an opioid ime/o. Make sure you have plenty of food and water in you when your on amps. that will help a small amount. also take smaller doses of amps

Actually scottd420, i think he was talking about the short acting endogenous vasodilator, Nitric Oxide (NO / Nitrogen monoxide), also seen to be produced for its endogenous vasodilation from consuming nitroglycerin or amyl nitrite by endogenous processes. It also contributes to the mode of action of ED drugs like sildenafil (Viagra).

My favorite vasodilator is cannabis (CBD/THC), since it is relatively low profile in terms of side effects when compared to most vasodilators used, but combining recreational dosages of amphetamines with cannabis can increase the chance of amphetamine-induced psychosis, so I would only recommend using it when therapeutic dosages (< 30-40mg/day orally) are being used for ADD relief.

Xanax is a pretty cerebral benzo when compared to more body-affecting benzos, like Klonopin and Valium, so xanax would be more suited to use in case of a panic attack induced by amphetamines, since panic attacks and heavy anxiety are psychosomatic. If you are getting intense muscle cramping, on the other hand, diazepam or klonopin would be the better choice, but for muscle cramps, benzos should only be used if 300-600mg chelated Mg and 400mg Potassium don't work.

I think every stimulant user should have a small reserve of benzos to use in case things get hairy on amps.
 
GABAa receptors are found primarily in the central nervous system, but also seen to be found in some abundance in the gastrointestinal tract. Benzodiazepines have been seen to produce noticeable peripheral nervous system effect when discontinuing them, with increase motility seen as a common relative common side-effect from the discountinued use. The opposite would be seen though while using benzodiazepines, though not in anyway like opioids. They can also produce some vasodilation, decreased cardiac contractility, and enhanced profusion along with muscle relaxants (i really feel benzos particular strengths depend on the user) but not in such strength where they were able to counteract recreational amphetamine use IME. Like I said earlier, I have found opioids work a lot better at getting some vasodilation particularly in the penis. Benzos will make you more comfertable though even if vasodilation in any significance isn't seen

I'm always able to enjoy masturbation and/or sex while on amphetamines.

The problem may be more drug/psychological based, like the drug increases norepinephrine, which makes you more anxious (not severely so but more than usual), leading to over thinking it, and what not.

The best call if you experience ED on amphetamines, is to not use them when you want an erection. :)

That last part. I think you can close this now as this discussion has taken place in several threads and I'm pretty sure I am not the only one who thinks its a big duh that if you get ed from amphetamines and it bothers you, then you shouldn't be using them....Xanax is for anxiety. Not male/female genitalia enhancement. END?
 
Alprozolam's best use is for panic attacks, not penises. It has actually been proven to reduce libido in men to a certain degree. If your ED is caused by anxiety, then it may aid your situation, however it will certainly not intensify or make amphetamine more pleasurable. Quite the opposite.

However a vasodilator/dopamine inhibitor like GHB is the only non-erectile-dysfunction-drug I can think of that will reverse amphetamine induced ED with limited health risks. GHB was sold as an aphrodisiac and OTC ED medication prior to its mass banning.

Amp/GHB is also my favorite drug combination of all time for sex.

Correct, I was talking about Nitric Oxide.


I didn't realize I put nitrogen dioxide...

GHB is dangerous to those who don't have much drug experience, alcohol intolerant people should avoid it. I have to say though, G does the trick.
 
GHB is dangerous if you plan to drive or do something that requires focus upon your first dose. It is difficult to overdose on unless you mix it with other depressants.

Oh okay, that's interesting, I had no idea. So how does it work? Does the BP not drop directly from amyl or nitro, making it an indirect effect? Also, is NO available as a supplement or is it not absorbed or metabolized before absorbtion in humans?
