xanax effects/side effects

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what effects/side effects xanaz has on a person? Also is it safe to snort .5mg for a first timer or is it not safe to snort at all?? Any info would be great.

Xanax, much like any other benzo is not soluable in water and will not disolve readily in the mucas membrane. Some will debate this and tell you that snorting somehow hits them harder. What you should do is crush it up and down it with some water. .5mg will be fine for a first timer, infact you'll probably need more if your trying to use them recreationaly. YMMV though and start out with a lower dose and gauge from there. Xanax is a benzo and will make you feel sleepy and kinda "intoxicated", much like alchol but without all of alcohols side effects.

IMO 1mg and a beer or two should get you nice and floaty... 2mg mixed with a lil booze and you won't remember the experience, but you'll entertain your friends and they'll tell you all about it.

1mg at least for a good first time dose, alcohol greatly helps...
Snort it if you like, but as deus said, there is no scientific basis for it to work, but many say it definitly hits faster (myself included) ..

see ive learned that the main effect from snorting any substance is not from the nasal tissues but from the accuall powder being absorbed in your lungs.
