Xanax dose. Does it get more enjoyable with higher doses

I have no xanax tolerance and have taken it basically only once (the other time was extended-release xanax).

2mg made me extremely tired and wasn't enjoyable at all. Would increasing the dose make me even sleepier or is there a point where it actually gets enjoyable? I'm considering popping 4mg + a ton of caffeine pills tomorrow. It's friday and xanax is all I've got. I don't wanna drink alcohol. Would that combo make me sociable and keep me awake? Does the euphoria kick in with higher doses?

I like high dose xanax, 2mg is great....but I definantly need to drink coffee on such a high dose. Other wise I just get tired and bored. Also xanax isnt very recreational without a little alcohol IMO.

Higher dose makes you more tired. Definitely try lower dose such as 1mg, but it wiĺ not keep you awake, just more social and a little bit tired.

Hi. If you intend to take together alprazolam (Xanax) and caffeine, you'd better not take anything. I don't see the point, really.

Do not abuse Xanax to get high, if 2mg makes you tired, why would you want to take more? it will only get worse and you'll get much more tired.

And jay, please do not advise to take a benzodiazepine with alcohol. It's a very destructive combo.
