hey guys just so u no im prescribed xanx( on and off for 4 years) and have a high xanax tolerance (7 to 10mg) to controll panic attacks
today i had horrible panic attaks took 12mg cuz 8mg(usaly doasage) wouldnt help and i feel like its slowing down my breathing nothing serrious but wondering if this is bad
i have not takin alchol opiates or any other cns depressants
just wondering if this is normal and i should just get use to it
or if anyone has gone thro this
thanks

Your..doses..are..super..fucking..high. With the doses you take to control your panic attack expect a seizure some time. And no don't worry if your breathing is slower because obviously it will do that, as long as you don't mix opiates or alcohol with that much xanax.

ite yeah i dont mix em and i dont take 12mg everday more like once a week so withdrawls and seizure arent an option right now
thanks for the reply
wish my tolerance was lower just ben on em to long

You are in constant withdrawals because of the short half life of Xanax. You might want to get switched to a longer acting benzodiazepine to avoid seizures as F1n1shed said.

I also recommend you lower your dose. 2mg is more than enough to control panic attacks; 0.5 - 1mg is ideal. Even considering differences between people, over 2mg is a high dose.
