xanax bringing roll back?!

i dropped 3 pills tonight and since i've taken one 0.25 xanax on the comedown b/c the anxiety was unbearable, and now it feels like the roll is coming back...?!?

i'm curious, can anxiety overpower the roll to the point you don't even know if you're still rolling at all. has this ever happened to you??

should i take another or just ride it out?
 
I think the xanax just helped you chill out and enjoy the afterglow a bit more. Even after you comedown, you seratonin levels are still quite high (hence the next day afterglow that a lot of users report), so this would make perfect sense.

You can take another .25 xanax to help you out if you're feeling edge, but you seem to be doing alright without the xanax.
 
^^Spot on. I always try and take a benzo on the comedown to mellow out.

I'm pretty sure serotonin levels are very low, or people wouldnt take 5HTP on the comedown, and redosing multiple times would still feel magical.

I think you mean MDMA levels are very high, causing the afterglow. Acute tolerance is developed though, which makes the roll feel like it went away.. And leaves an afterglow. Most certainly very little serotonin left in the SERT though.

I think OP is taking meth pills or piperazines. I highly doubt Xanax would bring back a roll, when it ALWAYS kills it with any clean pills I've tested. Although it does make the hangover from speedy rolls feel much less anxious/depressing. Xanax is an anti-roll, completely blocks out the effects of MDMA. I doubt OP is taking MDMA.

Smoking weed would bring my roll back the next day when I first started. I found out it's because the MDMA levels remain high for 24 hours, the only reason the roll goes away is from 'acute tolerance'.

When I take xanax during the comedown it does somewhat make me feel like I'm rolling a bit. Not any of the energy, but the body high seems to increase and replace some of the comedown nervousness. But it's not like it makes me want to get up and start dancing around, just ready for bed :)

You know what's weird is xanax always gives me a body high, nobody else I've ever spoke to gets. My fingers feel slightly tingly, and I just feel so relaxed, soft pillows and sheets just feel so good. But this is all the time, not just after MDMA. Also a very relaxed feeling throughout the body. I love xanax... =D But it never brings my roll back.
