Took 2mg of Ativan around 5 hours ago, took 3 .25mg of xanax, and I have been drinking heavily since... but I don't really feel anything. I'm new at this and hoping I didn't make a mistake mixing everything. Anyone who could provide some valuable insight would be IMMENSELY appreciated. :-)

Mixing benzos and alcohol is a very bad idea! this combos kills alot of people every year.
As to why your not feeling intoxicated....really hard to tell.
It could be that your more messed up then you think and it will all hit you at once, i think this what gets alot of people in trouble.
Also, you didnt need to mix the lorazepam and alprazolam. Their both quick acting, short duration benzos and basically do the same thing (although most seem to prefer alprazolam).
Mixing benzos is a fools (or doctors.lol) game, its usually either wasteful or leads to blackouts.

If I don't take any more of the medication, but keep drinking... do you think it'll be alright? Should I eat something?

If anything, i would stop drinking.
Alcohol is very unpredictable to mix with other drugs and in particular cns depressants.
Benzos on the other hand are relatively safe when taken alone, which is one of the reasons their so widely prescribed.
Yes, have something to eat.
The inly thing worse then mixing alcohol with your meds is doing it on an empty stomach.
To sum up...please put the alcohol away til another time, it will end in tears.

Not a suggested combo, though I have done it more times than I could possible remember, with other things included. If you are worried enough to come here and ask, then just stop drinking. This is a HR site, so no one is going to say keep drinking while on a drug that contraindicates it and is a deadly combo. That is not a terrible large amount of benzos, but any with alcohol is greatly increasing the risk. If you are really concerned just try to stay awake for 3-4 hours, at that point the majority of the benzos will have worn off. And do not drive, stay somewhere safe.

If you're not tolerant to either the combination will eventually lead to black out, coma, and death. If you have a benzo tolerance, it's best not to drink on benzodiazepines but you won't die from drinking a couple beers when tolerant to the medication and dosage.

So far you are typing fine and seem coherent. Although you may not remember things tomorrow you seem fine as of right now. I have done similar combos over 100 times and made it out fine.
You just need to know your body, but i wouldn't drink anymore.

Alcohol +Ativan + Xanax

I'm surprised that some of you are saying that you've done this combo and have been fine from it. That is giving the OP a false sense of security with this combo since I'm sure you all know that this combo is notorious for causing blackouts.

Often times people feel like they aren't getting any affects from this combo, but in reality are just numb from it and are probably around blackout status.

While its true that you are unlikely to die from this combination, the real risk is the things you may do while blacked out from the combination. Things like getting into fights, driving while under the influence, stealing, or doing some other dumb things are common when doing this combo, and account for a lot of arrests that occur among bluelighters and others that have taken this combo. I know a lot of people that have never been in trouble with the law that have racked up a handful of arrests that were the result of mixing benzos and alcohol.

i've been fine on the combo, also been arrested multiple times mixing alcohol and benzos. not recommended. also as said people die from doing them together. they call this the "jailhouse cocktail" around here.
