Benzos Xanax and weed

Hey! New member! I want to combine weed with xanax. I'm gonna smoke a joint with tobacco so I'm not gonna be super high. I was wondering how much xanax should I take in order to enhace the weed high a little bit but not to get close to a black out?
 
Personally, I can only smoke weed if I have some type of benzo. At least 2mg. Weed gives me massive panic which is odd since uppers do not.

For you, the weed and benzo will make a nice high. I'd say the extra relaxation will give you a spiritual buzz.

But as you already know, benzos are addictive, so if you start doing them everytime you blaze up, you're gonna build a dependence, unless you smoke less than 5 times a week.

What is your current tolerance to alprazolam? I can take upwards of 20 mg and be fine even though I rarely take them.
 
I think the combo is a good one, i won't smoke marijuana without a benzo anymore. Pot causes anxiety in me, but if i take a benzo with it.... its a very relaxing fun high. If you have no tolerance to benzos, i would suggest you only take 1mg to see how you feel. Alprazolam ( xanax ) kicks in very fast, and if you want you can always take more... but not less.
 
I have no tolerance at all. This would actually be my first time trying xanax. I'll probably start with 1mg then.
 
Would 0.5 mg have any noticable difference from 1 mg. Meaning that since I'm really thin (around 45 kg ~ 100 lbs) could 0.5 mg be as good as 1 mg?
 
0.5 mg will not be like 1 mg, but if you don't have any tolerance you'll probably notice the effects. have you ever tried any benzodiazepine? I think for someone who is benzo-naive would be difficult to notice the effects, since many people expect to get "high" which really isn't the case with benzos, but you'll most likely feel that the weed high is different, more mellow. I think you'd better take 0.5 mg if your first time & considering your weight. as someone else said you can always add another 0.25 - 0.5 if your not satisfied.
 
It's best to start low with benzos, they can often make people black out and act erratically if they take too much. So stick with 0.5mg.
 
Alright I'll just start with 0.5 I guess! Also which is the best way of taking it? I've heard that snorting it it's kinda of a waste.
 
Personally, weed gives me too much anxiety to not take benzo's when smoking it. The longer acting ones are more effective but become very sedating when weed is added. You will literally start nodding off with good weed.

Personally, I'd recommend not taking Xanax, Ativan, Temazepam, Trizolam, or any of the shorter acting benzo's with weed. Valium and K-Pins are the way to go for sure.

yes some will argue it's not true but since most benzos aren't water-soluble they won't (shouldn't?) be absorbed through your nose. just put it under the toungue and let it melt it's the best method IMHO/IME
