Xanax and Vicodin?

I took about 3mg of xanax today spaced over a few hours. I have a pretty high opiate tolerance (around 120mg oxy) and got a hold of 10 7.5/750 vicodin. I am tempeted to take these now (CWE is course), but I know the dangers of mixing the 2. Would it be safe to do so, or should I just wait until tomorrow? Any help would be appreciated!
 
Since your opioid tolerance is so high I think you could do it safely...but reduce your dosages of opies (the hydrocodone) to less than what you would normally use to get high. Oxycodone is stronger than hydrocodone though so I think your tolerance is pretty good.

However, mixing opiates and Xanax just knocks some people out so they dont enjoy the experience anyway.

Were you planning on taking all of the hydrocodone? (would be around 70mg hydrocodone total if my math is right)

I plan on taking them all. I usuallly need 100-120 of hydrocodone to be feeling quite nice. I just never really mix benzos and opiates, so I want to do it safely.
 
If you normally take 120mg of hydrocodone, taking 70mg or so with the Xanax should be okay. How long ago did you take the last Xanax? Alprazolam (Xanax) has a pretty short half life, so some of the Xanax you took earlier is already out of your system...
 
I don't have a tolerance to benzos. I took 2mg around 6 or 7 hours ago, then 1mg about 2-3 hours after. I really don't feel the effects anymore of them, but I know they're still in my system.
 
The alprazolam is still in your system, but there isn't nearly as much in your system as there was, say, 5 or 6 hours ago.

All things considered, I think its a safe combination. You may want to try out something lower than 70mg of hydrocodone just to see if it puts you where you want to be. Given the effects of opiates and benzos mixed - you may feel amazing with less than all of your hydrocodone.
 
I don't see a major threat because of the fact you took the Xanax some hours ago and it is quite short-acting, and because of the fact you will only be using ~ 75 mg hydro, when you normally use 120 mg oxy. You will likely end up feeling more sedated than usual, even if the opiate high isn't as pronounced.
 
Just took 7 10-350 narco (I know..they sucks...but it was all I can get). Going to wait a half hour or so and take 2 mg of kpins and 2 1/2 or zannies. Does that sound alright???
 
Well, that would be an overdose for somebody without a tolerance...

If you don't have a tolerance to benzos and opiates, I wouldn't take Klonopins or the Xanax or any other depressant for that matter.

We need to know more about your tolerance and usage of both opiates and benzos to answer that question....

I have a pretty large tolerance to both opiates and benzos. I've taken clonazepam for 12 years and opiates for about 5 years.
 
You would know best what your tolerance level is. Dose lower on both when drugs synergize else face some potentially dire consequences..

I used to enjoy this combo back in the day when Vicodin and Xanax would work when I took them (8-9 years ago). Now neither do anything. I need at morphine/heroin, methadone, fentanyl, or hydromorphone with temazepam, triazolam, nitrazepam, or lormetazepam to start feeling groovy.
