Xanax and Valium

WARNING: I am still quite new to this board, and I am trying not to do something wrong or break any rules or put topics on the wrong boards, so I apologize if I do any of that.

My friend just got ahold of some benzos. He got a couple of (non extended release) xanax, and some valium bars. I have never done a benzo but am quite partial to the opiate world, and he told me I could try some of both.

My question is, what is the best way to ingest either of these pills? By nose or mouth? Or let dissolve in mouth? What would give me the best high, in other words? I'm looking for a high that's as close to opiates as possible, since that IS my drug of choice, but I don't know what these benzos will do.

Xanax are bars valium are little blue pills with either a 5 or 10 on them. If you are expecting an opiate high it doesnt really come close. I'd just take them considering they are instant release.

OH, alright I got them mixed up. Sorry. So it's best to just swallow them then? I've been looking around different message boards and most say to just swallow, but a few people have said snorting (Xanax, not the valium) is the way to go since it hits way harder way faster. So I am just a bit confused.
 
Just swallow them, they have a high oral BA. Don't snort them, any additional effects you may feel are merely placebo. Benzodiazepines DO NOT compare to opiates. The only comparison is that they both are sedatives. Opiate addicts like them because the combination produces a more powerful high.
 
benzos never snort that, its a waste and burns and has little effect, i would take a bar and a valium you should be straight as hell with no tolerance, i just took 2 bars and 3 valium and im barely buzzin, beware of tolerance.
 
the reason benzos dont work when snorted is beacause theyre not water soluble. well they are but like .1%. any way it doesnt get absorbed in the mucus membrane in your nose because of that
