Xanax and tramadol

I have seen some older archive threads about this but haven't really seen any good answers. Is it ok to take these two together?


If so, do you take at same time? Looking at 50mg tram and .25 of Xanax

Can't recommend mixing opi's and benzos. Really bad if you take too much. I've known plenty of people who've died of this combo (not tramadol specifically).
 
It's safe if your CAREFUL and know what your doing. It's best if you have experience with both substances, 50mg of tram and .25 is a safe combo and there no way you could OD. but this is a VERY dangerous combo with used irresponsibly. If I were u start with Tramadol by itself and see if you enjoy it. Then add the benzo if you like.
 
i actually took tramadol for rec use because although it didnt do shit for pain it was a nice stimulant for me happen to anyone else?
based on that taking tramadol and xanax would be pointless to me

I have taken up to 150mg of tram. It doesn't really do much for me. And I have taken up to .5 of xanax. I was thinking of just taking 50 and .25.
 
I won't tell you what to mix and what not to but those doses are relatively low for both meds,the .25 xannax is the lowest. I personally think mixing them would be a waste especially since the tramadol isn't having an affect on you, the xannax I wouldn't think would potentiate a weak opioid such as tramadol! Don't know if this helps but my buddy is prescribed both at higher doses(well xannax anyway not sure about the tram) and he's still above ground,just don't go throwing down a shitload at once.If your gonna do it(which I'm sure you will) your starting point is the safest.

it wont do anything as they dont interact with each other but give it a go but take small doses on each and see how you do
50mg of tramadol and .25mg would be a good starting point adjust as needed
just dont take dangerous amounts of tramadol because at certain itll lower your seziure threshold or high doses of xanax as you can easily black out

Take at same time or spread out do you think?
