Xanax and methadone?

so I took 3MG of xanax which won't get me high, MAYBE buzz, since I have a high benzo tolerance. I also have a really high opiate tolerance, I can take 8 30MG Oxys and not be satisfied with my high.

My question is, can methadone get you high? I've only used it for WD.
Also, how much would I need to take to get high if you can get high off methadone, and is it safe to mix the two?
 
No this is not advisable. I don't know much about methadone getting one high but I do know it is very dangerous to mix with other CNS depressants. That is a high dose of xanax
 
I'm prescribed 2mg a day for ptsd and anxiety, I get the bars. It takes around 9-11 mgs to get me high. I've been using for years, tolerance rose.
 
I've read about methadone and it isn't known to produce much of a "high". Even if it does the xanax will dull it. I bet your tolerance to Mdone is low so regardless of your BZD tolerance, the Mdone can/will depress your respiratory system significantly and possibly result in an overdose.

Be safe with what you choose to do. I've given you the warnings. Mdone is notorious for it's ODs in conjunction with other CNS depressants. But I really think you should not do this regardless of your tolerance. Idk what kinda high you're looking for but a fatty joint will get you higher than that.

Well I'm actually in WD'S right now which is why I have methadone I just ran out of Oxys after having them a month and a half straight no break, so the WDS are BAD. But I also heard someone say they were getting high off methadone alone& that if you mix it with xanax it's like a heroin high, which is my drug of choice.

I decided to just take 1, to help the WDS a little.
 
Sorry, to tell you that everyone is different in how any medication works in their system. Why, I said sorry was because far as Methadone it is used to carve the feeling of getting high. I have taken them both together and there is no euphoric high at all. If I was you I would leave both drugs alone if you can. This is some nasty stuff to get off.
