I posted this last one in the wrong section, sorry mods. I'm new. But, I have 10 mg of lortab and 2 mg of xanax. I have no tolerance. How much of each should I take. I want to get a really good high without overdose. Preferably a nice nod.

we're really not here to give you advice on how to get the most fucked up, though, certainly can help out with dosing questions which is essentially what you're asling.

i would suggest choosing one or the other initially if you've no tolerance to either. start out with 10mg norco and you can titrate up slowly 45-60mins after your initial dose as to gauge where you are.

the xanax i would recommend 0.5-1mg.

if you are dead set on combining them then i would halve each of those doses as you're combining two CNS depressants. start very low and titrate up as i mentioned. you don't want to miss out on the high and fall asleep.
 
Sorry, I didn't know if recreational use was discussible here. I'm new, I just made my account today. I really just want to get my mind off things, I've been struggling bad today with my PTSD and really need to take the edge off, and I'm out of cannabis. I should have worded that better.

Recreational use is certainly discussable, how to get "as fucked up as possible" is not. We don't allow questions about how much to take to get as high as possible, and we can't tell you how much drugs to take, but we do allow discussion about what is a safe or usual starting dose.

I suggest you read the BDD Guidelines here.

Please be extremely careful taking these drugs together, a lot of people have died from mixing opioids and benzos. If you are insistent on taking them together, then as dais said, try 5mg of the hydrocodone (Lortab) and 0.25mg of the Xanax to start.

I will leave this open for now so people can discuss the safety aspects.

I took 10mg and 1mg before all this, am I going to be okay? I mean I can take up to 20mg of Lortab and feel fine, and I can take 2mg of xanax and not blackout. I hope I'm going to be okay... Should I worry about this?
 
When you mix them together it is much more dangerous than taking each on their own. That said, I think you should be ok. Don't take anymore right now though. How are you feeling and how long ago did you take them?
 
I took the xanax about 20 minutes ago, and the lortab about 30. I am feeling them both, but not really bad respiratory depression, about the same as me taking 20mg of Hydrocodone. I weigh 200 lb's and can take 3mg of xanax before I pass out, and I've never passed out with vicodens before, when I was younger I would take 30mg of it and nod really hard with no tolerance, though closely monitered by a sitter.
 
Sorry for the double post but should I be worried? I mean I feel okay, but I'd like to hear advise form seasoned members.
 
you sound calm and collected so i think you'll be fine.

maybe see how you are in a while longer and update us to know you're still fine.

have you got anyone else around to make sure you're ok? if things start to go pear shaped it'd be good to have a friend on dial so they know the deal, even the ambulance.

And thanks for editing your post, that's a little bit better at least (we still can't tell you how much to take to get a really good high and nice nod though, as it's always safer to take too little than too much).

I'm feeling better, I didn't nod too hard but it was a nice feeling. Also, sorry for the late reply I was enjoying the high because I was able to control my breathing well enough that I didn't worry too much. I may use this as a normal dose if I am mixing the two now, because it seemed to work quite well. I'm still buzzing quite a bit and I feel good. Thank you all for your help, and again sorry for the rulebreaks, I just wanted to know how much I could safely take to be intoxicated quite a bit, but not overdose. I've been going through a lot of stuff recently with PTSD and other issues, so Xanax really really helps but my psychiatrist won't prescribe it to me because she doesn't prescribe them, deadset against it. I really wish I could find another psychiatrist because the Xanax does wonders in my flashbacks/night terrors.

i'd have stepped away from the computer. the only reason i'm on here is because i'm doing some work on it so bl'ing in between.

plus there's that unwritten law that at least 50% of your time on bl must be while intoxicated;)
 
I really like this community, very helpful and safety oriented, yet also open to recreational drug discussion. I think I'll enjoy my stay here. Thank you all for the support and the non judgmental attitude towards it. On a side note, I'm still nodding pretty good from this, how is that possible if I took it at 10:30 or so.
 
we're not here to judge, we're here to help as you've found out. it's pretty sad when you see drug users further categorise other users just to put them down for whatever reason. you don't find too much of that here which is why BL is so highly regarded as a reliable source of information and pleasant posters.

one thing to keep in mind is BL is an international board so stating times will confuse some people especially if we don't know your geographical location.

how long ago had you dosed?
 
that sounds about right. you'd be past the plateau and slowly starting to come back to base by now.

because of the synergism of the two drugs the high will be more "intense" leaving you with the feeling you've been higher for a lot longer.
 
Okay, truthfully this helps my PTSD more than my usual DOC for alleviating symptoms, Cannabis. But I am somewhat afraid of being prescribed it because I've heard w/d from Benzo's are horrendous.
 
But, I have 1mg of Xanax left, will that give me a nice buzz tomorrow? and should I eat on it or will that kill the high?
