Xanax and heroin

I take 1 mg of Xanax twice a day and I use heroin on occasion tonight I did about 3 bags and then a few hours later took some Xanax am I going to be OK?
 
Please ask before you do it not after! Combining opioids and benzos is very risky. We can't know for sure if you're going to be ok - everyone is different. If you only use heroin once in a while it can be especially dangerous to add Xanax on top of it, even if you do take Xanax often. However, if you have a tolerance to Xanax and are used to taking it every day, didn't take any more than usual, and took the Xanax a few hours after the heroin, those things will at least have lowered your risk a lot. But please avoid this in the future, or if you are going to do it anyway take a lot less of each drug than you would normally do.

Exactly how much time after the heroin did you take the Xanax?
How long has it been since you took each drug?
How are you feeling now?
Are you alone?

If you are in doubt at least get a friend to hang out with you for a few hours so in case you pass out/stop breathing someone will at least be there to call an ambulance.
 
I took less Xanax then I usually do I took it about 2 hours after the heroin I mainly took it cuz I couldn't sleep I feel okay right now just really tired and no I'm not alone I'm with my best friend but she's asleep should I just try to stay awake?

Hmm... Although Xanax kicks in pretty fast it can take up to 2 hours to feel the full peak effects, so if you still feel fine 45 min to an hour from now I think that means you should be ok. If you took it over an hour ago and took less than usual, and took the heroin 4-5 hrs ago (by what ROA?) I would say you're going to be fine. But of course I really can't say for sure over the internet. If you are feeling worried about it could you maybe wake up your friend? (Since if she's asleep she wouldn't notice if something happened to you, and if you did OD you wouldn't notice either)

I snorted the heroin. And yea I could wake up my friend I'm just really tired now and need to sleep I'm gonna try to set the alarm on my phone in case my friend falls asleep again and I am never taking heroin and Xanax together again I didn't know it was dangerous now that I do never again thank u so very much for ur advice keep me updated if u can
 
Sounds good. I do really think you'll be fine. I'm just hesitant to say you'll definitely be fine because I can't know for certain. But yeah, please don't take them close together again in the future - lots of people have died by mixing heroin and benzos. Not trying to scare you :) The fact that you are coherently typing to me right now is a very good sign.
