Opioids Xanax and Endocet (Oxycodone) - Harm Reduction

I have a fairly good tolerance to xanax...been taking .5mg to 1mg per day for over a year although I have been taking Zanaflex and Flexeril lately for my back along with the antiinflammatory Relafen. I did use (1) 40 mg of Opana insufflated in the past 4-5 days (total 1 pill) excluding today since I was out of oxycodone. I knew from experience that my tolerance to Oxycodone is shot after taking Oxymorphone. That being said I tooke (4) 10 mg Endocet this morning. I also took 1mg of Xanax. I feel very noddy and tired and work from home by myself. I was not expecting such a feeling since my tolerance is fairly high for a recreational user. I have back problems form a car accident the past 6 months so I have been taking PKs more regularly than usual. I know the benzo/oxy combos are not good for you, but I figured my theraputic does would be OK to take with the 40mgs of instant release (normal does is 20-30, but I upped it since the Opana Im sure hurt my tolerance.

Basically i feel noddy as fuck and dizzy. Should I be ok as long as I can no nod off with the doses mentioned above? Should I start banging some coffee? ]

One single Opana pill will not affect your tolerance, that would be your long term usage of Oxycodone that would have affected your tolerance. Another thing, if you're finding your tolerance is rising, that would mean that you are probably becoming dependant on them, and taking more to try achieve the same effect will definitely increase your tolerance as well as making you more dependant prone. But no, if you have only taken 1 Opana pill altogether, that would not have affected your tolerance in the slightest.

Thanks, the Opana was just broken up over the past few days excluding today. Today I just took my 500 mg Relafen earlier today, a zantac earlier today - felt fine at this point.

My concern was more with mixing the Xanax and Endocet. I at 4 10s oxycodone and 1mg xanax. I was pretty floaty, nodded out, and very dizzy, so it started to concern me a bit since im working from home alone and it usually takes a good amount to make me nod, not 40 mgs so I guess it was the simultaneous mix. I just got a coffee, some fresh air, and I feel much better.

Been seeing all these benzo/opiates OD shit lately so obviously it just made me panic for a sec. I dont normally mix the 2 very much. Plus I had a bunch of other crap in my system with the zanaflex, flexeril used daily and some tramadol and Klonopin that has been used only a few times lately.

And yes, I probably have a small physical dependancy at this point. Gonna ween it down here after the weekend unless my back is really hurtin. Seems like a waste to keep upping the dose instead of taking a break and getting way less serious withdrawal and then get easily perculated once tolerance is gone.

You should be alright, you're feeling it much more than you would normally because you also took xanax.

I am glad to hear that after some coffee and fresh air you're feeling better.

If anything, let this serve as a small reminder that it is still totally possible to (accidentally) bite off more than you can chew.
