Benzos xanax and adderall.

I have severe anxiety but am also Bipolar with ADHD. I've taken xanax before and adderall i'm addicted to but, im working on lowering my use. Anyways, i was at the doctor, had a panic attack, took one xanax, and then took my adderall xr bout 30 minutes later. Is this safe if it happens again? I felt fine, just a bit calmer from the benzo on adderall, just mainly tired, not as great of an amp high it seemed like.

But if i do have a panic attack before school, take xanax then adderall? Is it at a level of unsafeness that is high?

you don't mention the dosages you're taking. xanax and adderall, generally speaking, are fine together. in your case, with the panic attacks and all... you should probably take a break from the adderall. what doses are we talking here anyway?

Speed will exhasperate anxiety. You should try a lesser dose of speed. If that doesn't work, perhaps try a low dose of speed with a low dose of coffee. Better yet, quit the speed then the benzo and get yourself a 'racetam (for focus AND anxiety).

But like violet said, doses of xanax and speed can range from .125-3mg a day and 10-60mg a day, respectively.

Thats what i usally do but i been taking the xanax xr 3mg 2x a day so im up to 6mg's I like the effect of the adderall but like you i have severe anxiety and panic. Just remember if you must take the xanax take a lower dose than normal to equalize the effects of the adderall. if you take alot like i do to make a mild speedball sometimes the xanax will override any euphoria from the adderall and your not anxious or panicking but just focused and dull. And i think the adderall I.R is better for a buzz. i get x.r and i.r

Did you ask your doctor what he/she thought? This would be your best bet.

Doctors don't have problems prescribing benzos and adderall at the same time. As long as you stay at your prescribed adderall dose and do not take more xanax than you need for the panic attack, you should be just fine. I don't think taking one before the other will be more unsafe.

The only time i experience panic attacks from the adderall even with the xanax. is if i go three or four days with just like 4 hours of sleep each night. with me i been abusing adderall almost for a year and i never went a full 24 hours with no sleep because my body period without checmicals craves sleep i noticed since i was a kid if i didnt get enough sleep boom panic anxiety. so since im taking online classes im good. Usually around five am or 6 ill take a hefty dose of xanax and remeron everynight to get sleep no matter what even if its like 3 hours i feel refreshed. but after about four days with 3 hours a night if i have a panic attack. ill try to lesson my adderall dose a tad that day and than get atleast 7 or 8 hours of sleep that night and im back to my old self. But i keep a steady supply of adderall x.r and I,R and xanax and klonopin thanks two seeing 2 doctors so i never run out. And all that stuff about adderall being dangerous yeah if you take like 400 mgs maybe i been taking atleast 150mgs a day for months and the benzo's keep your heart and blood pressure down. Im still taking more than prescribed. to get high. but not enough to damage my body i just had blood work stress test and cat scan im in tip top shape. So as long as you know your limit there is a difference between abuse and addiction.
