Xanax + Alcohol

So my tolerance to benzo is kinda moderate, about one Xannie bar (2mg) will have be good, but not barred out n sloppy. SO my question is would it be fine, hard reduction wise, If i say took about 1mg n drank a few beers. If thats ok, what about 1 or two vodka shots? Without me blaacking out n evendeath lol Im an expierenced drinker too by the way. 6 pack baarley barley gives me a buzz,

You should be fine, at most you will just pass out for a few hours and have a nice solid nap. Cant say for sure though and I always like the "better safe than sorry route" myself and that would be choose one or the other. But, in my unprofessional opinion, you should be ok. Maybe drink some coffee first to try to avoid the falling asleep thing.

It is difficult to say. As you have a tolerance to both, you might be alright, but the potentiate each other greatly and often take people by surprise.. the real problem is that your judgement will be impaired on that combo, and might result in you having a lot more of one or the other than you intend. Personally I'd stick to just Xanax or a drink, but not both.

Man you'll be totally fine. Could.very easily black out amd do something you regret,but that is more on the xanax side of things. Take yr one mg and drink up buddy. Health wise, no problem. Socially, might have some repercussions. OFf the topic of harm reduction...I'd add 30 mgs of adderall to the mix. But that's just me, and probably not the best idea

booze potentiates benzos hugely and vice versa... but at the amounts you suggested it seems totally safe to me... the risk is, you'll take 1mg and 2 shots, and think "i can handle this easy"... add another 1 mg and 2 shots, and before u know it you''re falling all over the place n blackin out

Just be careful. I tend to get very careless on Xanax. I'll take 2mg, then feel like taking another, knowing I shouldn't, but I'll take it anyway and waste the second 2mg dose. Alcohol will just potentiate this behavior.

I did Xanax and alcohol daily for 6 years ..... ended up in rehab but didn't need to. One mg and a couple of drinks is great as they are synergistic. The problem is blackouts. I have blacked out for days. Been up & about but with no memory of anything including what else I took. The dangers with this combo are your respiratory system & what you do blacked out. If you can address those issues you are golden.

The key is to drink really slowly, because as others havae written, you wont stop it until you black out. And bring no more xanax than you're planning to take.

For your information, I have never blacked out on them, even with low tolerance and huge doses, and i can assure you, its not that good at all. The "euphoria" is better at lower doses, you only say/do stupid things and regret them for the rest of your life.

IME it will be unlikely that you will really stick to that dose. Combining strong benzos and alcohol will really impair your judgment which will eventually lead to multiple redosing. Maybe its just me but combining benzos and alcohol ended with a crash in most of the cases.
