Xanax (2 pills), Alcohol (2 beers) - First Time Xanax - No good effects, memory loss

I don't drink anymore - so when I was out recently in a foreign city with some people I know and one of them had some kind of over the counter pills ('Xanax') I figured I'd have one and adopt it as my excuse not to drink.

In the end, after maybe 3 hours or something, I was convinced to have a single small bottle of beer, however, which was a big mistake. Memories started to leave me, and I remember being a little disoriented when we left that bar (the second). Went went to another one, and I was given another beer (I think?) .. from there everything is hazy and fucked up. 8( I don't remember where we went, where I slept, or anything. I have a feeling I wound up with a prositute in some mate's place, based upon the recollection of being in a house I'd never been to, but from there I have no idea. I don't even know what happened the next morning, time is completely missing for the next 12 hours.

Looking back I am pretty disappointed I had the beer. Fucking alchocol culture, it's such a bitch to avoid.

Advice: unless you have some anxiety issues and get proscribed it, avoid Xanax, definitely what they say about mixing it with alcohol is true - don't do it, you get nothing out of it. You just get disoriented and fucked up. :(

Haha, you just have to get used to it. Whenever I eat Xanax (or clonazepam, diazepam), I always drink. It adds a nice euphoric feeling if you have a tolerance to benzos, and don't get the memory-loss feeling the next day.
 
i used to take about a 1mg xanax, 2, .5 klonopins, have a few stiff vodka drinks, and then take a rolll.....it doesnt effect my rolll at all....i rollled my balls off for about 4 hours. benzos and booze only seem to make the effects more intense for me.
 
I always drank on them 2 but thats what xanax does if u take alot & drink alot on it.. I like 2 just take a bar chill then pop another after i feal the first, becuz when I drink alot on bars i dont remember shit...

Alcohol+Xanax = waking up in jail the next day and not remembering last night.

I have had some awesome experiences and some god-awful experiences mixing Xanax and alcohol. I've had great, laid-back nights with friends that didn't involve black outs. I've also had nights involving physical injuries, embarrassment, and a number of risky things. Thankfully nothing serious has ever happened to me.

I've learned to avoid the bad nights by limiting how much Xanax I pop. Those 2mg Xanax bars are tiny and don't look like much, but you can't keep popping them because they are POWERFUL. And be careful how much alcohol you drink. I recommend sticking to less than 3 drinks. I am a small person so I can have a max of 2 shots. Some nights I haven't even had alcohol and I've blacked out for hours on 3mg of Xanax alone. So to prevent problems I no longer take more than 1 mg of Xanax every hour and I keep the accompanying drinking to below 3 drinks if I do more.
 
so if i was to take a half a bar and have like 2 or 3 mixed drinks, i have never done xanax before, then i am going to have a good time or end up in the hospital? my friend says i should do a bar and drink a couple of drinks but i dont wanna pass out or end up in the hospital

QFT last timeI did bars my friend wrecked my car then apperantly we fled the scene went back to my house duck taped the bumper on drank more then went to sleep fucked up shit.

I'm with ya on that one, i fuckin hate the alochol crowd.

But as i mentioned in my Clonazepam Report, if you take too much you'll end up wobbling around like a drunk and feel sick the next day without much pleasure. Next time take maybe half of one of those pills and drink a (1 pint) beer or take one of the pills (if theyre 1mg) and don't drink anything. It really is pleasurable once you find your (benzo) level. I found my second attempt at clonazepam was much more light and pleasant and the memory loss was minimial.

Oh and maybe it's not such a smart idea to drink alcohol on benzos. I'm no drinker so i can't say for sure, but maybe the alcohol mixed with the xanax's fucked up your experience. I know some people who drink whilst on 'shrooms' always get angry or near psychotic for some reason and start hitting shit. Don't ask me though... no idea. Pick your drug you want to play with at one time, whether it be alcohol or benzos, don't choose both. I just read the above posts, sounds like drinking on benzos is the worst thing u can do. But weed and benzos... now that's a party.
