Xanax + Alchool ?

warning: xanax + enough alcohol to get you drunk= amnesia
IMO i would half the amount of alcohol you usually drink if you plan on eating,say, a xanax bar or what have you.I have no recollection of my 18th birthday or graduation night because of this same combo.thanks, come again.
 
Do a fucking search this has been covered a thousand times. Xanix & alcohol are a major no-no. If your a girl your gonna wind up fucking some dude you never met b4 on this combo. The only time you should combine them is if you are an avid user of benzo's & no that you can only drink sparingly while on them...

NoreigA what the hell are you talking about? Major no-no?!?! I've never taken benzos without alcohol... It's like the whole APAP thing. Sure, if you dump 5 mgs of xanax plus a couple of 12 packs down your throat with no tolerance, you're probably not gonna make it... but, a miligram or two of xanax plus a few cocktails is hardly a trip to the morgue.
My suggestion, if you're going to do both, drop the Xanax first. Wait for it to hit you (doesn't take long) and then have a drink or two. You do NOT want to be all wasted and pop a xanax- good way to overdo it.

This drug combo is definitely a great one if taken correctly. Two things. If you take too much xanax, you’re going to black out and most likely just pass out and the high will have been a waste. So know your tolerence to it and then proceed, don’t over do it!
Secondly, after taking xanax, drinking a lot of alcohol with it is not too keen either. You need a significantly smaller amount of alcohol to get EXTREMELY fucked up when drinking with xanax. So don’t pound those beers or shots, be slow about it.
I honestly mixing these two saves you a whole lot of money sometimes when your goal is to get totally wrecked. I love it, I’m so much more outgoing and sociable while on the combo…however, be aware that xanax for some reason does turn certain types of people into complete asses…many certain types of people from what I’ve observed actually. Just don’t do so much that you black out and forget the dumb stupid things you did the night before that have now just made your life that much more complicated…lol.

Good Advice! Xanax definately turns me into an asshole, never have found out why, either. Just another reason I don't like most benzos. The only benzo I like is Ativan (lorazepam) which makes me very social and moderately euphoric. Go figure!
Most people seem to find they either like the combo, or can't stand it. Start with like 1mg xanax and a few drinks, if that's cool then up them both a LITTLE bit at a time. You'll be able to judge your limit then, because you won't be able to stand up for any period of time and you'll be entering sleep/passing out over and over.
