Xanax 1st time...Help????

1mg buzz isn't really a good buzz. More to calm the anxiety of a psychadelic or something. I would say take 2mg at one time. You will be fine as long as you don't drink any alcohol. Once you get used to 2mg you can mix with alcohol and whatnot. Just as long as you know how you react to the substance. In my opinion xanax really isn't that fun by itself.

Paradigm,,I do not agree that Xanax is not fun by itself, if your a person like me who likes pharmies, it is very much fun. I personally can take like 3 Vicoden ever 4 hours and have the time of my life.. To each his own. If you will rember from my original post I have no tolerance for E Pot or Acid so for someone like myself pharmies are just fine....And yes my 0.25mg dose was a killer buzz for me..
I dont understand people such as your self that dont seem to realize that some people dont have to blackout and act silly for them to consider it a good buzz it was better than good it was great ... And I should know I was the one experincing the great time..

Catching so much as a sensation off .25mg of Xanax? It truely boggles the mind... with NO tollerance to any benzo I still have to take 2mg to get a nice buzz ..
And sublingual is a far better way to take yer Xanax, don't bother snorting..

Maybe its a simple matter of gender and weight? Maybe alcohol cross tolerance could effect the amount needed. Personally, 4mg of xanax is nice, though i prefer the sleepier high of valium.

Dan and Meky I think you just proved Conspiracy Kid's point..I did not want to fall asleep and black out I just wanted to have a good time with it and thats what the low dose did for me...

The first time that I took xanax I took 2mg. I took it on the way to school. I got about an hour into my first class and fell asleep. I proceeded to sleep through the rest of my classes, and when I got home I plopped down on my waterbed and slept for a couple of hours. Then I went out and had a blast that night, as all that sleep made me feel like a million bucks.
I only took a 1/2 of a xanax bar(1mg) my second time. I took it after a long night of rolling. I felt FANTASTIC. I fell asleep easily, slept for about 7 hours, and woke up feeling totally relaxed and ready for a great day.

i took 2mg and i felt EUPHORIC and VERY relaxed,and made me smile,basically i felt VERY GOOD!! plus i was walking like i was drunk and i was talking a lil'more too,i did fall asleep about 3 and a half hours into it but thats cause i was at home + had a hard days work
you can take a high dose and not FALL ASLEEP if you take it while your out instead of AT HOME DOIN NOTHIN BUT WATCHIN TV/ON THE COMP.<<--i bet thats why alot of people fell asleep there first time!!
(the bad thing is i had to UP th dosage every night. the First night-2mg,Second-night 3mg ,Third night i had to take 3-2mg pills to feel the afects like i did the first,thats the only thing i hate about benzos)..but the good outweigh the bad!!

First and last time i took xanax i took 1.25 mg along with a half bottle of vodka over about an hour. I remember ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I have never passed out on alcohol before alone, so it was creepy. My friends told me I wipped out my dick and started pissing on the floor in front of everyone..pretty god damn embarassing.
