the cold darkness
huddles closer to me
pressing its clammy
hands against my spine
i sleep still
through the cold
through the world
through my life
unaware to what is
unfolding around me
unable to see the
dissolving reality
my mind is shifting
in
and
out
unable to move
a numbness of my senses
i sleep still
time quickly passes
where have i been
where am i now
where will i be in the future.
