WTF should i do?

Alright, so i waited over 12 hours to take half a suboxone. after an hour and a half i wasnt feeling better so i took the other half. after another hour or so i still felt like shit so i broke down and scored some dope. the weird thing is i couldnt get high, no matter how much i smoked. im not withdrawaling but im not high. is this because the suboxone is working and its blocking my receptors? in the morning should i just take another suboxone? will i feel better? or is dope the only option.

oh yea, and i just got a good job at costco and i start tomorrow. $11 an hour, pretty damn good for me. so i really dont want dope to ruin this job for me. and i know if i keep smoking dope, it will ruin this job and my life.

why do i love dope sooo much?? i hate it
 
yea the sub is blocking the dope. Sub doesnt get you high it just stops withdrawl and may kill cravings. If you keep taking the sub it will work better give it a couple days to build in your system. Dope isnt going anywhere give the subs a chance to work you just might like it.
 
^ agreed. The subs were blocking the dope for sure. Though I'm not sure why the sub itself didn't do anything to you - maybe it was just too weak by comparison with dope.

You should wait until you're sick - as long as you possibly can - before taking more subs anyway. Give them a go.

This is correct and THE only way. You can still use opiates on Subs but you have to wait at lest 24 hours and wait at lest 8 hours(for short acting opiates) before taking it or else it causes precipitated withdrawals. 7days into a few hours. This is what I do but I have good self control.

Keep taking the Subs as it will take at least a week to feel 100% but it is MUCH better then regular withdrawals. It aslo doesn't seem to do anything for the depression.

My buddy is in the exact same situation (kind of...), hed taken Bupe (suboxone / subutex) for years and then got back on Oxy after a series of injuries. He wants to get back on Bupe but has a crazy tolerance--5-8 80mg Oxy OP's per day via dissolving and then drinking them.
He misjudged how long these new oxy OP are in ur system, and even tho he was what he thought were the first stages of w/d's and I'd had been 24+ hours since his last dose, he still went into horrible precipitated w/d's last lasted almost 2 days...therefore...
He is very hesitant to get back on the Subs, not b/c hed no longer be getting high, but b/c he's afraid of precip. W/ds again.
Does anyone have experience in switching from the new Oxy OP's (preferably high doses) to subutex? Or does anyone in general have any tips when switching from long lasting drugs like the new OP's, fentanyl patches, or even methadone to Bupe?--how do YOU know when ur far enough into w/d to take some Bupe?

well, just an update. im being stupid. i have work in 4 hours and im fucking high. god im such an idiot. think im gonna try and make it through work, it shouldnt be that bad cause i wont be WDling that bad. then sometiime when i get home take some bupe and hopefully feel better. i think its a somewhat decent plan.

any advice?

(BTW i only have two 8mg subs left :( . wish i had more.)
