Went for a walk last night and while i was banging away to my walkman i suddenly felt a loss of balance and equilibrium.
My vision distorted in a way that it suddenly seemed like i was standing on a 45 degree angle and felt almost weightless.
Stumbled sideways a bit and then everything went back to normal.
(this all happened in a space of about 5 seconds)
uuuuhhhhh anyone relate? anyone????
i had a bit of speed on the weekend and 2 or 3 weeks before that had a sunflower trip.
Could remnants of any of this cause that, pills maybe?
or am i just one of natures little accidents???
*scratches head*

um if this ever happens again i'd go see my doctor right away. it could be just a once off, but its better to get it checked out...

orion, post this to medical Q&A, where the chance of hearing from ppl with similar experiences is better. i have no idea, but yeah, maybe go see the doctor, it cant hurt can it?
take care =)

point taken.
i do know that my blood pressure is naturally LOW. usually something 90 over 40.
had a fitness assessment once and they said i was off the chart....
i think it was a combination of fatigue, low blood pressure and low blood sugar levels but yeah, better to be safe than sorry. gonna follow it up.

Yeah, this has happened to me before as well... it was partly what lead me to stop taking drugs... lose of balance... and when you get up quick you get really long head spins instead of just short ones... forgetful, prone to illness... yeah... been there... good luck with it either way, and hopefully it will be nothing and will pass.

I too have majorily majorily low blood pressure
and weird shit like that happens to me like that now and again so it might have something to do with it
other effects of low blood pressure is dizzyness when quickly going from sitting down to standing up and vice versa and often passing out after getting blood tests, having needles or giving blood shit like that
some info that has nothing to do with your post but just goes with having majorily low blood pressure

hi tidygirl,

sounds like me. heh heh.
i've past out before when my blood pressure has really dropped but its onlt happened about 3 times in the past 4-5 years.
i think a winning theory is that maybe some of the acid from a trip i had at Supernature is lingering in my system and cos i was walking at a reasonable pace and my blood was moving, the rest of the acid was flushed through my system.
hmmmm....

yay, I'm not that wierd! I knew there are others out there!
I too have quite low blood pressure and am forever feeling dizzy and light headed. Sometimes get dissorientated - got really worried a while ago had it checked out and was told it was nothing major to worry about. I was just told to drink caffeinated stuff (in moderation) and eat a little bit more salt and sugar (I'm also hypoglycaemic)
I was also told not to make too many sudden movements like standing up and down quickly and jumping around (pffft!)

yeah thats happens to me sometimes, especially if I stand up too quick. its quite common i think with people that have low blood pressure (like me).
best thing to do is eat more salt, i started doing this about 2 months ago and I hardly have a problem now
