Heroin Wtf happened. opiate OD? Seizure?

Ok, I'm an IV drug user. West coast so were dealing with black tar heroin. For starters I don't have much of a tolerence, one $20 balloon will get me high. Anyway today went like any other, hanging out with some friends, they told me the dope was strong and not to do all of it, so I only shot half my balloon.

1. I shot half my balloon
2. Roughly 10min later I light a cigarette and begin smoking it.


I sat there on the couch thinking about random stuff, that's really all I remember happening. But my friends end up telling me some stuff that happened that I have 100% no memory of.

1. They were in another room and said they heard me making funny, moaning type noises. Scared they tried to wake me up. They said I was breathing real slow,labored and not very often.

2. They said they could get me respond to my name but I wasn't talking just moaning back to them and rubbing my face, they got me to briefly make eye contact but then I drifted back off, eyes rolled back and continued making weird noises

3. The cigaette I was smoking burned a hole in my leg, didn't find out until hours after all this, never felt it when it happened. My friends said that my body was tense and I maintained a strong grip on the cigarette, enough to where they had trouble taking it from my hand.

This sounds like an OD but I don't see how that's possible, I talked to them and was coherent IMMEDIATELY after the shot for at least 10 minutes. Then the stuff I described happened and then everything went back to normal.

I thought my friends were BSing me because I felt fine & I had no recolection of any of the stuff that happened. The only medication I took today prior to the shot was feurosimide, just a diuertic

So what happened here? If it wasn't an OD which I don't think it was...what happened? Can an OD only last 10min?
 
Hard enough to have my friends slap me around nad a cigarette singe a hole in my flesh? If I was just nodding hard how come its all blacked out. Never got memory loss from nodding out
 
That does kind of sound like a seizure, I'm not sure what type and so I apologize that I can't be more helpful. This sounds like something I saw happen to a friend of mine. We were smoking a bong and after he took a hit his eyes rolled back, his hands locked around the bong, all of his muscled tensed and he kind of shook for a little bit while making low noises. Then he snapped out of it and had no memory whatsoever. thankfully I caught the bong before he dropped it, it was a very expensive bong!
 
Hmmm the touching your face and responding to your name does not present like a seizure, but 10min until it happened after mainlining is a while...idk
 
Don't you shake when you have a seizure? ..at the very least isn't there some really weird motor movement?...and of course all involentarily?

I'll tell you one thing, seizures from opiate ODs are very common..and can even lead to a stroke. Happened to me.
 
i have heard alot of seizure stories, and they dont match that. im not sure where you got ^ that from, but i was just answering the thread.
usually in a seizure you hallucinate, from the experiences ive heard about
 
Lol, I'm just messing around.

I have had a handful of drug induced seizures, and in all of them accept 2 I completely lost consciousness. In the ones where I was somewhat conscious I went into a dissasotiative delusional hallucinatory state....very weird and even quite frightening.
 
One time with my gf I did a little to much, about 160mg of oxy iv, I ended up nodding really hard that I spilled a drink, and while trying to clean it up, I got really nausous(sp?) and started puking so hard I couldn't draw a breath, then I ended up having a sezuire from no oxygen. 4 minutes later I was fine but I didn't remember anything of the seizuire, but my body felt so weak, luckily my gf didn't wake my parents or call 911, and that I'm okay, but sometimes your breathing can get ao shallow that you have a partial seizure. So watch out!
 
It does sound like some form of a seizure to me also. Especially the part about zero memory of the event. It's never happened to me with heroin but once with a large bang of demerol, I went into the fish out of water routine and screwed my back up quite nicely too boot. Others present said I was bouncing off the floor a foot and that my body bent like a Bow only in the wrong direction. Think thats what screwed the back up. I had no memories of this what so ever. One minute I'm blabbing to a friend, then next I'm on the floor soaked (from people throwing water on me) and looking at my brother who hadn't even been there prior. Very strange experiance.
 
haha "too much man, too much, took too much.. better hope there's some thorazine in that bag, or you're in big fuckin trouble". sorry i cannot answer your question. oxygen deprivation would be my guess. i'm just a haole boy going for biochem.
 
Thanks for the response guys, keep em coming and hopefully we figure this out. If I had a seziure. I need to have a good idea why and if its My brain or the dope
 
the part that sounds sketchy to me is: "they told me the dope was strong and not to do all of it". So your friends may have knew it was some strong shit. Gotta be careful my dude. I don't know how well you know them, if they are are long time buds or simply necessary dope connect friends whatever.... different stuff is cut with different stuff.. different batches diff strength... dif levels of cleanliness

Im rambling.

but obviously would quit using, or at least try to re-up with a different batch and not fux with the half-balloon of death any mo
