i wrote this shit in rehab, when i do believe i still had some brain power left....
this was a letter to my "addiction", and i tried to hold a rap feel to it.
to the razor blade that chopped my coke and the bottle that made me broke,
year after year you've made me worse close to a hearse and to you it's a joke,
so now i suppose i'll rise up light up a verse and bitch please take note,
the antics of your ways and all that dope had left me in an imperial haze, and
i don't expect you to understand but trust i can and it starts today,
you're a creep a punk and all that rage you made me cage,
makes me understand your ways a little better, you're a fucking fake,
and with these words i empower myself,
i don't i won't wait can't sit on the shelf
continue to destroy ones i love and then hide in my shell,
and for the ride it was fun but it turned to hell,
so now i'ma learn life and get it all right,
cuz i'm out of your grip, i gotta story to tell....
that shit seems really amateur to me.... i don't like it at all. here's something else i wrote at rehab:
straight-laced as my mind raced denied my case and fucked in the face, can't you understand this chase, I ain't the man simply a can on the shelf with a date too late to tell, overwhelm today with the power of my drugs tellin' me it's ok, try to find myself and lose again tomorrow, i don't try to fight, i don't try to lose my nights especially when this time around makes me drown the lights and hate this town.
this world has lost and my girl was the cost and i struggle to see when i can accept the monstrosities of a demeaning crazy life, kicked in the teeth.
i don't much enjoy what i wrote. it's pretty amateur, no big words, no word plays, no expressions. whatever. i'll lead into this.....
