The ambient halls of reality.
It's hard to be comfortable
When Your a circle

But life's not fair
Living like a square

As the rain of eons
Fills my face
The cosmos grins
In star spangled space

One nation under the influence
One solute too many
I regret not saluting you
The target of fascism, and ignorance
Were idiots but still
Alarmist have a tolerance

The sound of the breeze was my cradle
Rocked to sleep by mother earth
The streams uncrossable
Mountains unreachable

Specks of light litter my vision
Last night face traces
Peripheral wrongdoings
Catch em at a glance
I forget romance

Sorry to be pedantic but this IS "Words" AND you say you wrote the poem during an English class....

Perhaps consider an apostrophe and an "e" in line 2 so it reads "When You're a circle"?

It's a pet-hate of mine when "You're" is written as "Your". However if "Your" is what you intended then forgive my criticisms.
