Contemplating life and how things just are
Losing myself to what I crave the most
The escape and the thing that makes old ties stronger
And new friends closer
Wanting to be inside of you and you one with me
Wanting to grow up so fast
Running ahead of my time
But I guess its just my mind
It's always been like this
Running
Ah head
Scattered thoughts doing loops in my brain
And my heart heavy
Eyes black
And I'm all alone
Things are moving fast and I want to be with you
My face is hot, my feet are cold
And its you that makes me whole
Something I wrote while I was rolling, tell me what you think.
What kind of inspirations, if any, do you get while rolling? Just wondering.

Writing while rolling? Never tried it myself, although I think I write better in the few days after I roll.
I'm going to move this one to our Words forum, where I think you'll get a better response. (Also check it out for other people's writings).

Hey I like this :) its just like a lot of things I think about on a regular basis all put into one poem :) great work

on the few occasions that i've rolled by myself...i've wound up writing furiously....wonderful occasion to spill out that which you have inside you....in a way that doesn't get constrained by style...or conventional constraints.... your piece is beautiful btw.... :)
