writing philosophies

Hi. I am a writer--sorta, maybe, wannabe--in a big fucking slump (so bad that i have no better words to use than generic profanities). I am wondering if anyone wants to share their writing philosophy for inspiration. I'm thinking of like... what kind of mood you want to be in to write, how you decide what is worth working on... stuff like that.

the one problem with writing that I've encountered in my times is that you have to find your own inspiration. Theres no point posting a message on here asking what you should do. Try for yourself a whole range of scenarios. Drugs, booze, depression, extreme joy, lust, sorrow are some of the more widely used and thus almost cliched parameters for writing. You gonna have to experiment...
good luck, always great to know there are others out there, thumping their writers block head's in agony and torment.
