Just joined, after many years of reading posts after being directed by a search engine. I ave six or seven grown kids (depends on how you count!
), and most have required at least some meds since childhood, merely to function. Two are autistic, two ADHD, and one struggles with other neurological issues. I use prescription ADHD medication as needed, plus hydrocodone for my back. This site has been a godsend--even as a "lurker"--because it provides information that FDA pamphlets simply do not contain, and doctors apparently do not know. Too bad the net was not around when the kids were younger; it would have saved me countless visits to the library.
